Designed with our philosophy of “All-in-one-solar” the Stud Solar takes one of our most popular products – Stud – and integrates the panel, Cree LEDs, a high performance Lithium Ion battery and a clever electronic circuit into a ONE piece light fitting. The panel is on top, the LEDs are underneath the cover, the battery and the circuit board are inside the gear tray.
When we designed this fitting we wanted to take some highly sophisticated technology but make it user friendly. We also wanted to give our customers options, but not so many that they would feel overwhelmed by the product. Choices such as Smart orNormalmode, 2 or 3 night illumination guarantee, timer setting: 8 hours, 10 hours, Sunset to Sunrise, and the modulated timer. All of these are selected through simple dip-switches, no need for complex programming.
Once the fitting is programmed it is simply a case of forgetting about it. Ordinary maintenance is simply inspecting the panel every month or every second month to ensure that it is clean.
Stud Solar is ideally mounted on a pole of between 3.5 – 4.0mts and is ideally suited to path or garden lighting, in public or private areas.
What are the advantages of Stud Solar:

• Wiring is an optional – no need to wire it into the grid. Stud is an off-grid product that has an option for on-grid back up
• 24HR battery output – on 100% battery charge our product will work for 24 hours
• Constant light flux – no need for motion sensors to detect passers-by to save precious battery power, our product works at a constant light flux for its operating duration, guaranteeing you 24 hours.
• Accurate night calculation – 15 days of recorded data allows the circuit to “guess” length of current night – thus allowing the power distribution management.
• Smart ON – product adapts to seasons by switching on at dusk. No need to constantly adjust timer settings.
